Welcome to Ride Maxi Cabs (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our services.

About Ride Maxi Cabs

Ride Maxi Cabs operates as a booking and dispatch service provider for maxi taxis, people movers, minibuses, and related passenger transport services across Sydney and surrounding suburbs.

We arrange transport services using:

    • Our own network of licensed drivers, and/or
    • Independent, licensed, insured transport partners where required to fulfil bookings efficiently.

    Eligibility to Use Our Services

    By using our services, you confirm that:

      • You are at least 18 years of age, or
      • You are booking on behalf of another passenger with proper authority
      • All information provided during booking is accurate and complete

      Bookings & Reservations

      Booking Methods

      Bookings can be made via:

        • Our website
        • Phone
        • Email
        • WhatsApp or other approved communication channels

        Advance Bookings

          • Advance bookings are strongly recommended, especially for airport transfers, early-morning trips, weekends, public holidays, and major events.
          • Booking confirmation is subject to vehicle and driver availability.

          Booking Confirmation

          A booking is considered confirmed only when:

            • You receive a confirmation message (SMS, email, or WhatsApp), and
            • Any required advance payment (if applicable) has been received

            Pricing & Fares

            Fare Structure

              • Prices may be fixed, quoted, or estimated depending on the service type.
              • Quoted prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking.

              Additional Charges

              Additional charges may apply for:

                • Waiting time beyond the included allowance
                • Toll roads, airport parking, or entry fees
                • Extra stops not included in the original booking
                • Late-night, early-morning, public holiday, or event surcharges
                • Excess luggage or special equipment requests

                You will be informed where possible before additional charges apply.

                Payments

                Payment Methods

                We may accept:

                  • Cash
                  • Credit/Debit cards
                  • Online payments
                  • Bank transfer (for approved corporate accounts)

                  Payment Timing

                    • Some bookings may require full or partial prepayment
                    • Corporate and account customers may be approved for invoicing subject to terms

                    Failure to pay may result in booking cancellation or refusal of service.

                    Cancellations & No-Shows

                    Customer Cancellations

                      • Cancellations made with reasonable notice may not incur a fee.
                      • Late cancellations may attract a cancellation charge depending on the booking type.

                      No-Shows

                      A “no-show” occurs when:

                        • The passenger fails to appear at the agreed pickup location and time, and
                        • Reasonable attempts to contact the passenger are unsuccessful

                        No-shows may be charged the full booking amount.

                        Waiting Time

                          • A standard waiting time allowance may be included in your booking.
                          • Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.
                          • For airport pickups, waiting time begins after the flight has landed and the grace period has elapsed.

                          Passenger Responsibilities

                          Passengers must:

                            • Wear seatbelts where required by law
                            • Behave respectfully towards drivers and vehicles
                            • Not damage, soil, or misuse the vehicle
                            • Follow all lawful instructions from the driver

                            We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if passenger behaviour is unsafe, abusive, intoxicated, or unlawful. No refund will be issued in such cases.

                            Child Seats & Special Requirements

                              • Child seats, baby capsules, booster seats, wheelchair access, and other special requests must be declared at the time of booking.
                              • Availability is subject to confirmation.
                              • Passengers are responsible for ensuring compliance with child restraint laws if they supply their own seat.

                              Luggage & Personal Belongings

                                • Luggage must fit safely within the vehicle.
                                • Ride Maxi Cabs is not responsible for Lost, forgotten, or stolen items
                                • Damage to personal belongings unless caused by proven negligence

                                  Please check the vehicle before exiting.

                                  Delays, Traffic & Force Majeure

                                  While we strive to provide timely service, we are not liable for delays caused by:

                                    • Traffic congestion
                                    • Road closures
                                    • Weather conditions
                                    • Accidents
                                    • Mechanical issues
                                    • Events beyond our reasonable control

                                    Such delays do not entitle passengers to refunds.

                                    Third-Party Transport Providers

                                    To ensure service continuity, Ride Maxi Cabs may allocate bookings to trusted third-party licensed transport providers.

                                    In such cases:

                                      • Drivers operate under their own accreditation and insurance
                                      • These Terms still apply to the booking arrangement
                                      • Liability is limited as outlined below

                                      Limitation of Liability

                                      To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

                                        • Ride Maxi Cabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
                                        • Our liability is limited to the cost of the booked service
                                        • Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law

                                        Cancellations by Ride Maxi Cabs

                                        We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to:

                                          • Safety concerns
                                          • Vehicle or driver unavailability
                                          • Incorrect booking information
                                          • Events beyond our control

                                          Where possible, alternative arrangements or refunds will be offered.

                                          Website Use

                                            • Website content is provided for general information only
                                            • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access
                                            • Unauthorized use of the website may give rise to legal action

                                            Privacy

                                            Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and use personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws.

                                            Amendments to Terms

                                            Ride Maxi Cabs may update these Terms at any time without prior notice.

                                            These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
